EX-PROOF AIR OPERATED MOTORS JP-AIR 2
The JP-AIR 2 is another example of the reliability guaranteed by the historic collaboration between Agipompe and Jessberger, a German brand specialized in fluid transfer solutions. This pneumatic motor, made of aluminum, is designed according to the latest European ATEX 2014/34/EU, category 2, to offer maximum safety in environments with risk of explosion and during the pumping of flammable substances. Ex 2 GD c IIC T6 (80°C) X certification confirms its suitability for use in hazardous areas, ensuring reliable performance even in the most delicate applications.
Technical characteristics of the JP-AIR 2 engine
With a weight of just 1.5 kg, the JP-AIR 2 is an extremely manoeuvrable but powerful motor, compatible with a wide range of pump tubes, including ATEX stainless steel Ø 41 mm, with or without seal, mixing tubes, with total emptying and even with eccentric screw tubes of the JP-700 series SR PTFE ATEX. Supports neutral, slightly aggressive and highly flammable liquids with a flash point < 55°C, up to a density of 1.5 kg/dm3 and a viscosity of 600 mPas. The speed is adjustable via ball valve or maintenance unit, and the ON/OFF button on the gun handle can be locked for continuous use. The aluminium structure guarantees excellent chemical resistance even to solvent vapours.
